Magnetic coupling pumps for hermetically sealed processes

Hermetically sealed pumps for critical media

Magnetic coupling pumps combine conventional pump hydraulics with a permanent-magnet drive system and a three-phase motor. The contactless and slip-free torque transmission is achieved via the attractive and repulsive forces between permanent magnets in the two coupling halves. Between them lies the can, which hermetically seals off the product chamber from the surrounding environment.

The hermetic seal is ensured by a single-acting safety casing. Magnetic coupling pumps are used in particular for toxic, strong-smelling or otherwise dangerous fluids, as the fluid remains safely shielded from the surroundings by the gap pot.

Advantages

Hermetically sealed

The can reliably separates the pumped medium from the surrounding environment and ensures maximum process safety.

low-wear power transmission

The permanent-magnet coupling transmits torque contactlessly and without slippage. This reduces wear and maintenance requirements and ensures reliable operation.

Suitable for critical media

Ideal for aggressive, toxic, explosive or highly volatile fluids.

Flexible system integration

Design in accordance with EN 22858, ISO 2858 and ISO 5199, together with the use of standard motors available on the market, enables easy integration into existing systems and system designs.
