6. Third country
We do not pass on your data to third parties without a legal basis. Nor do we transfer your data to a third country, unless you yourself are located in a third country or the performance of contracts requires the transfer of your data to a third country. 8. Links to other websites
Our website contains links to external third-party websites over whose content we have no control. We are therefore unable to accept any liability for this external content. The respective provider or operator of the linked pages is always responsible for their content. The linked pages were checked for possible legal infringements at the time the links were created. No unlawful content was identifiable at the time the links were created. However, it is not reasonable to expect us to monitor the content of the linked pages on an ongoing basis without specific evidence of a legal infringement. Should we become aware of any legal infringements, we will remove such links immediately.
This website contains links to other websites. We have no influence over whether the operators of other websites comply with data protection regulations. HERMETIC-Pumpen GmbH, as the provider, is responsible for its own content in accordance with general legislation. A distinction must be made, where applicable, between this own content and ‘links’ to content provided by other providers. HERMETIC-Pumpen GmbH accepts no responsibility for third-party content made available via links and specifically marked as such, and does not endorse such content. The provider of the website to which a link refers is solely liable for any illegal, incorrect or incomplete content, as well as for any damage arising from the use or non-use of the information. The editorial team is only responsible for third-party content if it has actual knowledge of such content – including any unlawful or criminal content – and if it is technically possible and reasonable to prevent its use.
9. Cookies
Some of the web pages on this site use so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are so-called ‘session cookies’. They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser the next time you visit. You can configure your browser so that you are notified when cookies are set and can choose to allow cookies only on a case-by-case basis, block the acceptance of cookies in specific cases or generally, and enable the automatic deletion of cookies when you close your browser. If you disable cookies, the functionality of this website may be restricted. Cookies that are necessary for the execution of the electronic communication process or for the provision of specific functions requested by you (e.g. the shopping basket function) are stored on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies to ensure the technically fault-free and optimised provision of its services. Where other cookies (e.g. cookies used to analyse your browsing behaviour) are stored, these are dealt with separately in this privacy policy.
10. Google Analytics
This website uses features of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses so-called ‘cookies’. These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie regarding your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The storage of Google Analytics cookies is based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both its website and its advertising.
- IP anonymisation
We have enabled the IP anonymisation feature on this website. This means that your IP address is truncated by Google within Member States of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with further services relating to website and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other data held by Google.
Browser plugin: You can prevent cookies from being stored by adjusting your browser settings accordingly; however, please note that in this case you may not be able to make full use of all the features of this website. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available via the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.- Objection to data collection
You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set, which prevents your data from being collected during future visits to this website: Disable Google Analytics. Further information on how Google Analytics handles user data can be found in Google’s privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de - Data processing on behalf of a client
We have entered into a contract with Google for data processing on behalf of a client and fully comply with the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.
11. Google Analytics Remarketing
Our websites use the functions of Google Analytics Remarketing in conjunction with the cross-device functions of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
This feature enables the advertising audiences created with Google Analytics Remarketing to be linked to the cross-device features of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. In this way, interest-based, personalised advertising messages – which have been tailored to you based on your previous usage and browsing behaviour on one device (e.g. mobile phone) – can also be displayed on another of your devices (e.g. tablet or PC).
If you have given your consent, Google will link your web and app browsing history to your Google Account for this purpose. This enables the same personalised advertising messages to be displayed on any device on which you sign in with your Google Account.
To support this function, Google Analytics collects Google-authenticated user IDs, which are temporarily linked to our Google Analytics data in order to define and create audiences for cross-device advertising.
You can permanently opt out of cross-device remarketing/targeting by disabling personalised advertising in your Google Account; to do so, follow this link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb. The consolidation of the data collected in your Google Account is based solely on your consent, which you may give or withdraw via Google (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR). In the case of data collection processes that are not consolidated in your Google Account (e.g. because you do not have a Google Account or have opted out of consolidation), the collection of data is based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The legitimate interest arises from the fact that the website operator has an interest in the anonymised analysis of website visitors for advertising purposes. Further information and the data protection provisions can be found in Google’s privacy policy at https://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads.
12. Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking
This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising programme provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (‘Google’).
As part of Google AdWords, we use what is known as conversion tracking. When you click on an advert placed by Google, a cookie is set for conversion tracking. Cookies are small text files that the web browser stores on the user’s computer. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used to personally identify users. If the user visits certain pages on this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognise that the user clicked on the advert and was redirected to that page.
Each Google AdWords customer is assigned a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked across the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected via the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers are informed of the total number of users who have clicked on their advert and been redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can object to this use by easily disabling the Google conversion tracking cookie via your web browser’s user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.
The storage of ‘conversion cookies’ is based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both its website and its advertising.
Further information on Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking can be found in Google’s Privacy Policy: https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.
You can configure your browser so that you are notified when cookies are set and can choose to allow cookies only on a case-by-case basis, to block the acceptance of cookies in specific cases or generally, and to enable the automatic deletion of cookies when you close your browser. If you disable cookies, the functionality of this website may be restricted.
13. LinkedIn Ads, LinkedIn Analytics and LinkedIn Marketing Solutions
We use the services of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland (“LinkedIn”). As part of these services, LinkedIn collects and stores usage data in pseudonymous profiles to enable statistical analysis of website usage and the effectiveness of adverts, as well as interest-based advertising on our website, on LinkedIn and on LinkedIn’s partner sites. If you are a LinkedIn user, LinkedIn may also link this data to your user account where applicable. In the case of LinkedIn Marketing Solutions, LinkedIn transmits personal data to us via a form (known as a LinkedIn Lead Gen Form) with your consent. You may withdraw this consent at any time by emailing hermetic@hermetic-pumpen.com with effect for the future, in accordance with Article 7(3) of the GDPR. If you have given us your consent to contact you by email via a contact form, every email will include an unsubscribe link. Lead Gen Forms are forms pre-filled with LinkedIn profile data, which allow members to submit their data – which is publicly visible on the network – with just a few clicks. Enquiries generated via these forms are transferred directly to a lead management or CRM tool, such as HubSpot. We have entered into a data processing agreement with LinkedIn in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR, under which LinkedIn is obliged, in particular, to ensure an adequate level of data protection when engaging further service providers based in a third country. LinkedIn also uses cookies to collect data. You can disable this and the associated data collection via the following websites:
www.linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controlsoptout.aboutads.info
www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/
The deactivation is usually stored via a cookie. It must therefore be renewed if you delete your cookies. Furthermore, the deactivation must be carried out separately for each browser.
Further information on data protection in relation to LinkedIn services can be found at: www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy.
14. HubSpot
We use HubSpot on our website for marketing activities. HubSpot is a US-based company with a branch in Germany, at Am Postbahnhof 17, 10243 Berlin (‘HubSpot’).
We use HubSpot’s integrated software solution for our own marketing, as well as for lead generation, qualification and management processes. This includes, amongst other things, email marketing, which manages the sending of automated, personalised emails; social media publishing and reporting; contact management, such as user segmentation and CRM; landing pages; and contact forms. Our contact forms enable you, as a visitor to our website, to find out more about our company, download content and provide us with your contact details. This information, as well as the content of our website, is stored on HubSpot’s servers. We have entered into a data processing agreement with HubSpot in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR. We use this information to get in touch with you. Before we process your data for the purposes set out in this section, we will seek your consent. You may withdraw this consent at any time by emailing hermetic@hermetic-pumpen.com with effect for the future, in accordance with Article 7(3) of the GDPR. If you have given us your consent to contact you by email via a contact form, every email will contain an unsubscribe link.
HubSpot uses cookies. HubSpot collects and stores usage data in pseudonymous profiles to enable interest-based advertising. HubSpot also analyses information collected on our behalf so that we can generate reports on visits and the pages visited. You can disable the storage of data by HubSpot in cookies and the associated recording of your user behaviour by preventing the storage of cookies at any time via your browser settings and/or by deleting existing cookies.
We use HubSpot to optimise advertising and customer engagement. Only if you have given us your consent to do so can we also combine the pseudonymous data with personal details from your CRM profile in order to address you in the best possible way and provide you with support tailored to your interests.
In our collaboration with HubSpot, an appropriate level of data protection is ensured through the incorporation of the European Commission’s EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
We will process the contact details you have provided to us via a lead generation form, a contact form on our website or a dedicated landing page until you withdraw your consent.
Further information on data processing by HubSpot can be found on the HubSpot website.
15. Zapier
We use Zapier, a service provided by Zapier Inc., 548 Market St. #62411, San Francisco, California 94104-5401, USA, to integrate databases and web tools. When using Zapier, data is transferred to the USA. This is carried out on the basis of the data processing agreement containing EU Standard Contractual Clauses that we have concluded with Zapier and which is available here. Further information on data protection at Zapier can be found at https://zapier.com/privacy/.
16. Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, the data you provide will be used primarily for this purpose.
To subscribe to the newsletter, we require your email address. To verify that the subscription has actually been made by the owner of the email address, we use the ‘double opt-in’ procedure. To this end, we record the newsletter subscription request, the sending of a confirmation email and the receipt of the reply requested therein. No other data is collected. To improve our newsletter services, specifically to prevent multiple subscriptions, we will forward the email address you have provided to our European subsidiaries for verification purposes. There, your email address will be used solely for this purpose. It will not be passed on to any other third parties. You may withdraw your consent to the storage of your personal data and its use for sending the newsletter at any time. A link to this effect can be found at the end of every newsletter. You may also inform us of your wish to do so by emailing hermetic@hermetic-pumpen.com.
Your data will remain stored with us until you send us a corresponding notification or unsubscribe from our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link provided in the newsletter. By unsubscribing, you object to the use of your contact details. Your data will then be deleted immediately, at no cost to you.

and Freedom of Information, Baden-Württemberg
