Vacuum pumps and systems for demanding processes

Liquid-ring vacuum pumps and vacuum systems from HERMETIC

Liquid-ring vacuum pumps for gases and vapours

The HERMETIC liquid ring vacuum pump operates on the tried-and-tested positive displacement principle. An eccentrically mounted impeller forms a circulating liquid ring with the operating fluid. This creates cells of varying volume between the vanes, which draw in, compress and deliver gases and vapours.

As there are no components in contact within the pumping chamber and no lubrication is required, the pump operates in a particularly robust, quiet and low-vibration manner. It is ideally suited to humid, condensing and demanding process gases, particularly in the chemical and process engineering sectors.

In a hermetic design with a magnetic coupling or a canned motor, it also enables leak-free and safe operation, even with toxic, explosive or emission-critical media.

Vacuum systems (package units) as a ready-to-connect, complete solution

HERMETIC vacuum systems are compact, ready-to-connect system solutions for demanding processes in research, design and production. All essential components are integrated into a single package unit in a space-saving and service-friendly design – from the vacuum pump or compressor, through liquid separators, heat exchangers and condensers, to valves and pipework.

When combined with seal-less vacuum pumps, this creates a hermetically sealed system with an absolutely leak-tight ring liquid circuit. This reliably prevents leaks and safely contains emissions. Corrosive, toxic or condensable gases and vapours can be conveyed, cooled, condensed and, where required, recovered in a controlled manner.

The result is a cost-effective, environmentally friendly and technically sophisticated solution for modern vacuum and process technology.
